Emergency Relief grants helped non-profits carry out programs to meet COVID-related needs in these focus areas:

1. Helping people whose jobs were affected by the pandemic
2. Helping people facing food scarcity
3. Helping those whose household utilities or housing were affected by the pandemic

We also partnered with the Initiative Foundation to help area restaurants get back to business safely. Through the Outdoor Capacity Relief Fund, we gave out equipment grants that enabled local businesses to expand outdoor dining capacity.
Despite a year filled with closed businesses and cancelled fundraisers, we are so grateful to have almost doubled the grant dollars we were able to award this year. Through our regular grant program plus generous special donations from the Initiative Foundation and the local community, we gave out $76,837 in grants to local non-profits and area restaurants.
