Build an enduring legacy
Your gift to the Three Rivers Community Foundation (TRCF) will keep on giving—generating sustainable income for years to come. Every dollar you give will go directly into our endowment, where it will continue to earn money that is reinvested in the community each year.
If you want to give locally, your donation can help many non-profits serving our communities. We vet all the organizations that receive grants, so you can trust your gift will go to legitimate and worthy causes. The TRCF endowment fund has already given back more than $1 million to support local students and non-profits.

Other Ways to Give
Help at our annual golf tournament and other fundraisers or donate your time by serving on a committee. We can always use help from people with marketing, event planning or fundraising skills.
Spread the word
Become an ambassador by liking us on Facebook and help share our message! Tell friends and neighbors about scholarship opportunities, encourage them to attend our fundraising events, and let them know how they can become a donor. Memorial and honorary gifts are always welcome and a great way to honor a past Elk River Area alum!
Become a Corporate Partner
We are proud to partner with area businesses that want to build the local community and demonstrate your corporate citizenship by supporting local services that benefit your employees and their families.
Leave a charitable bequest
A charitable bequest is one of the easiest and most flexible ways to make a gift to TRCF that leaves a legacy, while reducing the tax burden on your family. You can:
Include a bequest to TRCF in your will or revocable trust.
Designate TRCF as a full, partial, or contingent beneficiary of your retirement account (IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or pension
Name TRCF as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy
If you would like to contribute another type of gift, such as stocks and securities, real estate, or personal property, please call the Initiative Foundation at (320) 632-9255. A staff member will be happy to answer your questions and guide you through the process.
